In today’s blog, I am sharing the challenges and issues that a freshie SEO expert faces in building their career in SEO. I am writing my own experience which every beginner can relate this.

Finding the right Organization:

To start a career in SEO one should choose the right organization who have quality projects, not Quantity projects where you can learn all the tactics of SEO. Many seniors train the freshers to decrease their boring tasks like link-building which will make the freshers feel in 3 to 4 months like they are just working as a data entry person, not an SEO strategist, and within a few months some people plan to leave SEO as they were fed up of these off-page SEO tasks and they are not aware of the technical SEO and On-Page SEO.

Sudden Fall of Ranks in the Search Engine:

At the start of their journey in SEO, many freshies had experienced a sudden fall in ranks and their seniors threw the issue on them that they were not working well and it was their fault for the sudden fall down of keywords.

But the issue is you have to do a re-audit of the website n number of times till you don’t find the technical issue and after solving the issue by the developer you need to re-check whether that issue is resolved or not. Then you have to implement the off-page strategy as per the current algorithm of Google.

Choosing the Right Keyword:

While doing the Keyword Research you need to pick the long tail keyword which has less keyword difficulty but more volume. Use the keywords with location, and near me, and also use the power words before the service or product.

When I started my first keyword research for a jewelry brand at that time all of my keywords were rejected by my seniors as I had made many mistakes like searching the wrong pattern keywords and finding the keywords with product names, then searching for the short tail keywords. I hope you all can learn from my mistakes that you need to search only long tail keywords to target for the first quarter for the off-page SEO.
